Parkrun is more than just a run

Waterfall Parkrun is Ingrid’s 36th different Parkrun venue and Gavin’s 42th. There is nothing special about it. Lots of people travel across the country running 5 kms in different places. We even know someone who has completed the alphabet with the Parkrun names. For @ingridlotze & @gavinmoffat, Parkrun is more than just a run, it is a free weekly 5K event where we meet new people, experience and witness a sense of camaraderie and feel a sense of achievement. It is also a weekly ritual and is a great way to start our Saturday off on a positive note, with us often meeting friends at a venue and having breakfast together afterwards. It has become a social event too.
