Diving 101 - use a checklist

Preparation with the use of a checklist is an indispensable tool for hobbyists dealing with multifaceted endeavors. It not only enhances efficiency but also contributes to the overall quality of the hobby - as @ingridlotze found out when she had no torch on a dive that was cold and dark. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Practicing humility and following the basic rules helps in maximising the enjoyment of complex hobbies.
