Corn on the cob

It’s not really a delicacy and it’s not native to Gili Trawangan or Indonesia. Nevertheless, it’s an exotic experience to try something familiar, somewhere new, for the first time.

However you like it, with butter, butter and garlic, butter and salt, butter and pepper, butter and chilli spice, it’s all good. You’ll notice, butter is a cornerstone of the experience for us, and salt.

These were a little under done for our liking but interesting.

Side note, being under the weather can dull even the brightest of experiences and @ingridlotze had a not-very-pleasant cold when doing this vid. She does rather well though, doesn’t she.

What a lovely way to end the day, a walk along the sea road, find a cob-cooker and eat with the waves lapping at our feet. How fortunate are we!
