We're not equipped for winter

We’ve been on the road for nearly 9 months and we’ve experienced mild winter weather wherever we’ve been, until Udaipur.

We’re in the state of Rajasthan in India and its a bit chilly. Not freezing, but night time temps going down to 5 or 6 Celsius.

Also, we’re riding around on a scooter. So the ‘extreme speeds’, maxing out at 30km/h leads to cold hands, cheeks etc.

So, we popped in to a local roadside store at 19:30 and picked up two pairs of Good-branded gloves, no really, that’s the brand name, a “Puma” beanie and a two part beanie-come-neck warmer. All for the princely sum of USD22.

Not sure the kit will make it to Dharmsala, either from a quali or weight-in-suitcase perspective and, we’re toasty for now.
