Lunch. DIY. Seoul-style

There's always a new thing to experience, a new way to do something, another opportunity to learn that there’s always something new learn.
A walk through Anam-dong, a closed Bahn Mi joint, a sticky chicken place closed for lunch (kid you not) led us to try a 3rd option.
An electronic table menu, no English option had us ordering, intentionally, a cook-it-yourself lunch. Noodles, odeng (fish), tteokbokki (chewy rice cakes) mushroom, spring onion, savoury gochujang-based sauce arrived in a wok, which was on top of a gas-powered cooker, on a tray. With a timer preset to 6 minutes and wonderful, difficult to misunderstand instructions.
Woof goes the gas and in no time 6 mins was up and lunch was done.
Scrumptious. All these new experiences. They just never end. This meal was yet another “accident” of circumstances that turned out to be an amazing experience.
