🌸 We’re loving every moment amidst this floral wonderland ~ and apparently the trees are not in full bloom yet! #SeoulBlossoms
We feel so blessed to be here in cherry blossom season as spring whispers its fleeting tales of renewal and joy. It is a loud and clear call to pause and immerse ourselves fully in the moment. The cherry blossoms, in their delicate beauty and brief lifespan, remind us of the importance of being present and fully appreciating the beauty and transience of life. They encourage us to recognise the value of the little moments that make up our lives.
For us, it’s cold but a welcome change from the Vietnamese heat. For the locals, it is warming up nicely and we see the riverside walks, park paths, and flower-lined pavements busy with residents and visitors alike enjoying nature within the urban landscape. Even the petals that litter the pavements are beautiful! It is striking to see how many elderly people are actively staying fit, and enjoying the weather, flowers, and communal spaces of Seoul. We love that the hashtag #asiansdoingexerciseinpublic is as accurate in South Korean society as what we saw in Vietnam. It is a powerful reminder of resilience and a broader movement toward vitality and healthy lifestyles.
Every flower is a call to live fully, to love deeply, and to embrace every moment with gratitude and wonder.
